Sheba |
Sheba is a beautiful
little tuxedo cat. She came to us with 4 newborn kittens and is
raising them in a foster home. In early May, Sheba and her four
babies will be available for adoption. |

Penny |
Due to health reasons,
Penny's senior human had to move out of her home, and unfortunately
Penny was not allowed to go along. She was left alone in the empty
condo for three weeks. Luckily, Penny is now at our adoption center.
She has adjusted to her new surroundings and has really come out of
her shell. The once timid girl now loves to play with the other cats
and receive belly rubs from all her human visitors. She is doing
really well and hopes to now find a quiet home with a warm and
gentle lap on which to cuddle. |

Annie |
Annie found herself at
the home of a local family who fed her and kept her warm while they
looked her real home. Annie had a red collar when found and trusted
the family that fed her. Unfortunately, they were unable to keep
her, so Annie arrived at the Center. She is a quiet little girl, who
prefers to be alone, but would love to find a permanent loving home. |

Shadow |
We got Sheba when her
babies were just a couple weeks old. They stayed in a loving foster
home until the kittens were old enough to be adopted. They are now
in the adoption center waiting to find their forever homes. There is
one black kitten and two white/black spotted kittens. They are
playful, social and very lovable kittens. Shadow loves to curl up in
your lap or be right next to you and fall asleep. She’s a tiny bit
shy at first, but once you start playing with her, she’s all over
you. She is very petite.
|

Dora |
Dora is a rare find in
rescue -- and a purebred dream in my books. She is a 3 1/2 year old
great Dane, natural ears, a petite 110 lbs and in perfect condition.
As is typical dane style, she is a lap dog and loves to be with her
humans. She is well trained, walks pretty on her leash, and is a
great listener. She is crate trained, but has always had the run of
the house. Overall, Dora has an extremely sweet and gentle nature.
She is good with cats, but will chase them if they'll run from her.
If they dont run, she doesn't pay any attention. We feel Dora would
do well in a home with a calm, maybe older male dog who doesn't want
to play. Active dogs who want to play and carry on seem to annoy
her! She has never lived with children, but seems to get along just
fine in their presence. A 6 foot fence is a requirement for Dora,
and we would prefer a home where she will not be left alone for more
than short periods of time. We are looking for an experienced dog
owner -- preferably in the tri-state area. |

Joy |
Joy has been living
outside in a construction site with her two siblings. A nice lady
was caring for them, and wanted to re-home them to a farm where they
would be safe and cared for. When Joy showed up, she was so tame and
friendly that we decided she deserved better than living outside. We
are now searching for a new home for this beautiful orange tabby -
with a family and a house to live in! |

Sylvester |
Sheba came from the
local shelter with her four 2wk old babies. She is now resting
comfortably in our adoption center, where she will raise her babies
until they are 8 weeks old. They will then be ready to move on to
their own forever homes (mid May). Sheba will also be available for
adoption at that time. There are two all black kittens and two
white/black spotted. Sylvester's eyes are bluer than the other black
kitty. He is very brave and likes to explore |

Sally |
|
Though just a couple months old, this group has endured alot
together. They are now safe in a foster home receiving
special care, love and attention. With their bright
orange-striped tabby fur and big, inquisitive eyes, they are
about as adorable as a litter can be! Misfit (male) is very
lovable and playful, likes to lay with you and lick your
chin (or your toes!) Wants to be near you! Mary is very
playful and nosy! If you are holding something, she has to
know what it is! Sandie, (female) is a little more
independent, but likes to play with the others. OJ will play
with you, but is just as happy to take a nap on your lap! A
real sweet little guy. Sally and Randy will play, but are a
little more quiet than the others. Like to sleep in your
arms!

Carrie |
Carrie is one of three kittens that were orphaned at just a week
old, when their mom got hit by a car. We gave the babies to one of
our nursing mothers, Smokey, and she immediately took them in as her
own. She is now the mother of six! Carrie will be ready for adoption
in mid-June, along with her siblings (adopted and biological!) --
Amy, Annie, Becky, Cole and mom Smokey.

Gracie |
These adorable babies were born in their foster home. Their mom,
Jewel, did a fantastic job of nursing them through their
developmental stages. They are strong and healthy and ready to find
their new homes. Jewel is also ready for adoption, and hopes she can
go with one of her kittens!

Little Bear
|
Little Bear and his brother Harley were brought to CCAD as bottle
babies from Delaware . Their mom was no where to be found. They have
done well in their foster home and are now on solid food, and
learning about socialization. They get along with other cats and
dogs, and are always willing to curl up on your lap. |

Twizzler |
My name is Twizzler. I’m doing great in my foster home and am
getting stronger by the minute! I get so many hugs and kisses during
the day … who could ask for more. Oh yes, the food is good too! I
see several other kitties exploring around the house, and I think
there are two close to my age (Harley & Little Bear). They even look
like me! I cant wait to become friends with them. I will stay in my
foster home a few more weeks, then be ready to move on to my new
forever home. Is that with you? |

Luna |
This adorable kitten
has a chubby round face and the sweetest eyes, ready to melt your
heart. She was found living outside with her mom and 3 siblings.
|

Molly |
Molly was found as a stray by a local
veterinarian. She was taken in, examined and given a clean bill of
health. She now resides with us, waiting for a new family to
discover her beauty and charming personality. Molly is very social
and likes to converse with her human friends. She also enjoys
playing with her new feline friends. |

Leroy |
Take a look at this
handsome young man! He has distinct dark markings and the most
beautiful green eyes. Leroy was a street cat, but has quickly
embraced the pleasures of being indoors. He gets along well with
other cats, and is gentle yet social.
|

Princess |
We are in search of a
new home for Princess. She is a very sweet cat. She enjoys playing
with the laser light and loves catnip. She will sit next to you when
you are just relaxing on the couch and she will sleep in bed when
its bedtime. She also lets you cut her nails without help. She
"talks" to you when you ask her something. She tolerates being
brushed and even getting a bath. Princess' owner has had her since
she was 2 weeks old. It came as a shock when recently she started
fighting with the other kitties in her home. It was a hard decision
for her owner to make, but she felt it was in Princess' best
interest to be able to find a home where she will have the whole
place to run around and be the only cat in the house. Humans of all
ages and dogs are welcome!
|

Pookie
|
Pookie's human lost his job and
home, then had to make the devastating decision to find Pookie a new
family. That's where we want to help. Pookie is in perfect health,
and has been very loved and cared for. He is quite social and not
afraid of strangers. And boy, is he handsome with that long black
hair and those big green eyes! One of his ears has a wrinkle in it,
making him even more unique and special! Pookie likes to be near the
humans, and really enjoys chin scratches and head rubs. Can you help
this sweet gentleman transition smoothly into a new forever home? |

Smokey |
Smokey came to CCAD with three tiny babies,
not even with their eyes open yet. She is currently in a foster home
where she will care for her kittens until they are able to be
adopted at 8 weeks old. A couple of weeks after Smokey had settled
in, she stepped up to help us in a BIG way. We were given 3 two week
old kittens, whose mother had been killed by a car. We introduced
the tiny babies to Smokey, and she immediately began cleaning them
and nursing them. Smokey is now the proud mother of six! |
